Ragtag Ventures is excited to share the latest construction progress at The Rowan, the 210-unit apartment complex currently underway within the Hartung Fields development in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
As the project continues to take shape, several major construction milestones are now underway across the site. Crews are nearing completion of wood framing throughout the building. With framing progressing quickly, work has now begun on the roof, bringing the project one step closer to being fully enclosed.
Inside the building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors have started rough-in work across various floors. At the same time, windows are beginning to be installed, giving the exterior its first finished look and helping define the clean, modern design that will carry throughout the completed project.
Progress is also continuing below the residential floors, where concrete is being poured for the parking garage. This work is an important piece of the building’s infrastructure and will provide residents with convenient, protected parking once the complex opens.
The Rowan is scheduled to open in spring 2027 and will bring 210 thoughtfully designed apartment homes to one of Fitchburg’s growing residential corridors. As the second phase of Ragtag Ventures’ Hartung Fields development, The Rowan builds on the momentum established by The Juniper and continues the company’s commitment to creating high-quality, modern multifamily communities in the greater Madison area.
With framing nearing completion, roofing underway, MEP rough-ins beginning, garage concrete being poured, and windows going in, The Rowan is entering an exciting stage of construction. Each week, the project looks a little more like the finished community residents will soon call home.
